How Osenso collects, uses and protects personal data.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Osenso Ltd (“Osenso”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, contact us, book a call, work with us or receive business communications from us. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. The data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details such as your name, job title, company, email address and phone number, when you email us, book a call or become a client.
- Booking information you provide when scheduling a call through our booking provider, such as your preferred time and any notes you add.
- Business contact data about professionals at organisations we believe may benefit from our services, such as name, job title, company, work email and public professional profile, used for our own business development.
- Website usage data, such as pages visited, how you arrived at our site, and device, browser and approximate location information. We use Google Analytics for this, and only if you consent to analytics cookies.
- Correspondence, including the content of emails and messages you send us.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange calls;
- provide our services to clients and manage our relationship with them;
- contact business professionals about services that may be relevant to their organisation;
- understand how our website is used and improve it (with consent);
- manage our business, meet legal and regulatory obligations and protect our legal rights.
4. Our lawful bases
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Contract, where processing is needed to provide services you have asked for, or to take steps before entering into a contract.
- Legitimate interests, for responding to enquiries, running our business and relevant business-to-business communications. We balance these interests against your rights and always give you a simple way to opt out.
- Consent, for non-essential cookies such as analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation, where we must keep or share information by law.
5. Business communications
If we contact you in a business capacity, we will explain who we are and why we are getting in touch, and every message includes a simple way to opt out. If you opt out, we will add your details to a suppression list so you are not contacted again.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting (Netlify), email, booking (Calendly), CRM, data enrichment and outreach tools, analytics (Google Analytics) and professional advisers. These providers may only use the data to deliver their services to us. We may also share data where required by law.
7. International transfers
Our team works across the UK and North America, and some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Client records are kept for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting requirements. Business contact data is reviewed regularly and removed when it is no longer relevant. Opt-out records are kept so that we can respect your preference.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can object to business communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@osenso.co. We will respond within one month.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and working within secure, reputable platforms. Access is limited to the people who need it.
11. Client systems
When we build and run systems inside a client’s own accounts and tools, the client decides how prospect data in those systems is used. Clients are responsible for their own privacy notices, and we work with them to support responsible, compliant use of data.
12. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first at hello@osenso.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
